Wehle Land Conservation Center
The Wehle Nature Center is open Saturdays, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Visitors are invited to simply enjoy the trails and scenic setting.
Programs, which are typically one to two hours in duration, begin promptly at 10:30. Afternoon programs are offered upon request to visitors who missed the morning program. Picnic facilities are available.
The Wehle Nature Center has no admission charge to any of its events. It is also open by appointment during the week to groups of 15 or more.
Things to watch for in winter include:
- Open Trails and Community Fishing Events - First Weekend of each month and other selected weekends during the summer - Join us for a day of fishing, hiking, and community fellowship. The Wehle Land conservation Center lakes will be open. Mountain Bike and Horse trails are available.

NOTE: The Wehle Nature Centers do not provide for individual or group meals. Visitors staying through the noon hour are expected to make their own lunch arrangements (e.g., sack lunches from home). Groups meeting for formal events may contact the State Lands Division regarding local catering arrangements. The Wehle Nature Center has no garbage pick-up, therefore, visitors are asked to follow the creed of the great outdoors:
