The YMCA is located in the old National Guard Armory, Highway 82, was established October 2000 and offers a variety of programs for all ages.

YMCA programs are tools YMCAs use to accomplish their mission, achieve their vision of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities, and reinforce the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
The YMCA believes we all need a place to belong -- a place where we genuinely care about one another, share in decisions, treat each other with respect and pull together for a common cause.
The YMCA brings people together from different walks of life in an environment where all can feel comfortable. They are natural incubators for ideas to help solve community problems. They get things done by working with other neighborhood groups and organizations.
Programs For Families
The YMCA offers a safe, welcoming environment in which parents and kids can communicate, cooperate and care for each other. There will be planned family nights that will give families a chance to have fun together in a safe, caring, welcoming environment. The ever-popular gym component help family members relax and fight stress.
The Union Springs YMCA is a branch of the Montgomery Metro YMCA.
